With five qualifiers already checked off the 18s calendar, the Ohio Valley 18s Qualifier will be the sixth opportunity for teams to punch their ticket to USAV Nationals in May. In the 18 Open field, the 21 teams will compete for three bids; over half of those participating teams are ranked in our latest 18s National Rankings.
With four teams already entering with an Open level bid and the trickle-down reaching the eighth-place team, that means a team who finishes 7th could be awarded a bid… and, we suppose it could technically go to the 8th-place finisher should a team choose to decline its bid.
