We take a look at the upcoming 16s Division at this weekend’s Triple Crown Sports NIT in Kansas City. The 16s is set up just like the 17s, with four power pools and 32, three-team pools behind them.

Everyone in the power pools is assured of a spot in the 64-team gold bracket. Teams in Power Pool A are playing for seeds 1-8, teams in Power Pool B for seeds 9-16, etc. Teams not in power pools must come in first or second on Day 1, then have to win a crossover match to qualify for the gold bracket. Starting Day 2, play is single elimination.
