Perhaps it seems like everything is happening in Kansas City this weekend at the Triple Crown Invitational, but that’s not so. There are several President’s Day weekend events occurring, including the seventh 18s qualifier of the season, AVC in Dallas.
It’s probably intentional that many of these teams chose AVC as their chance to qualify with many of the bigger names away in KC… and, for many of these more local teams in Texas, why not compete in your back yard?
That being said, it won’t be a cake walk to earn a bid! Below are the ranked teams in the 18 Open field:
