We squeezed in a quick article between the second day’s pool play and the third which began on Sunday evening, which you can find here. With eight teams remaining in the gold bracket in 15 Open, teams will compete in two pools of four. With each team having played its first match on Sunday night, the remainder of the matches will be held on Monday morning.
At the end of pool play, the two first-place teams will meet for first overall and the two second-place teams will face off to determine who will finish third for the final bid.
Having already played three matches before entering round three of pool play, of course players were tired going into the fourth match of the day. But, earning a first win would place teams in a much better position going into the rest of the pool play on Monday.
