We listed no less than 14 clubs when it came to the 17 Open at-large conversation. Obviously, some had better cases than others and with three spots to fill, it was going to be interesting to see which ones USAV felt worthy enough for selection.

The slots went to Michio 17 Chicago National, Premier Nebraska 17 Gold and Sky High 17 Adidas Black. Picking those three seemed to reward consistency in qualifier finish.
