We’ve got more hot news about the Triple Crown National Invitational Tournament (NIT) in Kansas City with Power Pool A in the 15s division. We’ve released the older divisions this week:
Power Pool A is made up of the best eight teams in the age division at the NIT, ranked in no particular order. Saturday, the first day of the NIT, is for seeding the single-elimination bracket that begins on Sunday when the teams from Pool A will be ranked No. 1 through No. 8.
That means that the Power Pool contestants (Pools A through D) could lose all three matches on Day 1, pull it together, and win the entire tournament. Teams definitely want to be in a Power Pool – especially Power Pool A – to ensure a good seed and top-notch competition, regardless of some tough matchups.
Seven of the eight teams in Pool A are ranked in the top ten of the PrepVolleyball.com preseason national rankings. Let’s meet the teams in Pool A in the 15s division!
