Over the past month, PrepVolleyball.com has been compiling a list of the various All-State volleyball teams published across the country. Florida, however, does not publish an All-State list, so we took on the task to release one once again. We kept tabs on the State Championship winners and have consulted with coaches across the state to deliver the 2020 version of the All-State list.
It proved to be even more of a challenge this year as the number of matches each high school played ranged from as few as 10 to nearly 30. Travel restrictions made it so we couldn’t judge one athlete’s strength of schedule to another, and we couldn't simply look at the player’s number of kills, digs, assists, etc.
The list below is made up of four teams, plus an Honorable Mention list to include a total of 90 players. We considered the contributions of Sunshine State players in the fall of 2020 regardless of the player’s graduation year, position, or the school’s enrollment classification.
Thank you to all of the coaches who contributed their confidential opinions. This could not have been done without you!
