Trouble With the Curve: Covid-19 Spikes Lead to Slowed Return to Play in Some States
In the past few weeks, a handful of states have seen spikes in Covid-19 Virus cases. Four months after states began to shut down to 'flatten the curve,' Arizona, California, and Florida, among others, have seen severe spiking in corona cases each week, despite attempts to prevent the spread of the disease. These spikes are cause for concern in Fall high school athletics, specifically volleyball, which was labeled as a moderate risk sport.
