On July 16th, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) released an announcement rolling out its plan for Fall high school athletics, which included a laundry list of decisions. The first major point was a tentative delayed start date of September 21st, and the biggest of which was the cancellation of all Fall Regional and State Championship events. The decision leaves nearly 200,000 New York high school athletes to wonder if it is worth the wait.
