Fall Volleyball Postponements Create New Opportunities for Some
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

As the high school volleyball season has moved to the spring in select states, some athletes have made their club facilities a second home to get reps and maintain their readiness for their eventual seasons. And others are taking advantage of the downtime to participate in activities they haven’t had the opportunity to in other years with a year-round volleyball calendar.

In Illinois, for example, volleyball is considered a “Medium-Risk” sport and begins on February 15, 2021 for this school year. “Lower-Risk” sports such as swimming and diving, cross country, tennis, and golf began this fall on August 10th.
