"Like a lot of daughters of former volleyball players, I start playing volleyball at an early age," Seton High senior setter Maggie Jones explained. Betsy Owens Jones, her mother, won a state championship with Seton High in 1996, was a three-time DIII All-American at Mount St. Joseph University, and went on to coach Seton High to another state championship in 2005. She was inducted into Seton's Athletic Hall of Fame as well as Mount St. Joseph's. So her love for the sport should come as no surprise. Since the third grade, Maggie Jones has played the game, starting club ball at age 11. That's when she fell in love with the game. However, a series of unfortunate events nearly forced her to give up the game for good.
