INDIANAPOLIS – Athletes lit up the Indiana Convention Center with some spectacular play on the Fourth of July, setting up what should be a dramatic final two days in the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships.
With gold-medal round berths on the line in the 17-and-under division, players stepped up their game a notch before scores of parents, coaches, and fans. Medal rounds will be played Friday, concluding four days of intense competition.
Meanwhile, 16-and-under players completed their second day of pool play Thursday. Pool play and challenge-round matches get underway Friday, followed by medal rounds Saturday.
