ORLANDO – Temperatures may have been chilly outside for opening day of the Sunshine Volleyball Classic, but things heated up in a hurry inside the Orange County Convention Center on Friday.

With some of the nation’s top club teams in attendance, individuals from California to New York to Florida served up some great play during first-round pool play. The three-day USAV qualifier continues today with second-round pool play and challenge matches and then wraps up Sunday with medal play.
