Sooner and Later – Callie Kemohah Commits to Family Legacy for 2021
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

For many young athletes with parents who had either played sports in college, added to a family legacy at a particular institution, or both, the idea that they, too, would attend the same university may be an unspoken pact since birth.

And when recruiting begins and other schools are brought into the mix, what is an athlete to do – follow the family legacy, or forge her own path? For Callie Kemohah, a 5-6 libero from Allen HS (Texas) and TAV 16 Black, the answer is one in the same.

Kemohah recently said “yes” to the University of Oklahoma where she will attend classes and play volleyball beginning in the fall of 2021.
