Living in Bend, Alex Acevedo grew up an Oregon Ducks fan.

She can share memories of attending all types of sporting events at the school. She envisioned herself suiting up and representing the university one day. It was only natural.

Acevedo grew up playing as many sports as possible. She didn’t like basketball, a sport her mom played in college. Acevedo was into karate and gymnastics but they didn’t stick.
