The Colorado Crossroads 15s Qualifier is off to an exciting start as some of the top seeds have been eliminated already, others had a close call, and some have separated themselves as teams who are not interested in having a tight game thus far. We knew it would be a difficult field of teams, but seeing it play out just on the first day has proven that to be true.

After Day 1, 16 teams remain in Gold and the final day’s play of just eight teams in Gold begins in the evening of Day 2. Here are the biggest stories from Day 1 in 15 Open.
