18s: Who Wins It? (Updated)
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

Of the teams at PNQ still seeking 18 Open bids, only Mizuno Long Beach 18 Rockstar was in the running to receive an at-large bid should it not qualify outright. But going into the weekend, there was just one at-large out there, so not only did Long Beach want to remove itself from the conversation and take care of business, other at-large hopeful wanted one less competitor to deal with as well.

What Long Beach and the remaining clubs left vying for one of the two, three-team gold pools was to have Absolute Black 18-1, Vision 18 Gold and Skyline 18 Royal all advance that far as well. Those three teams were already qualified. Therefore, the other three teams in the gold pools would have bids before playing a match Sunday.
