We run down how the at-large situation stacks up for 17 Open. There are 33 spots filled through qualifiers, leaving three at-larges to be dished out by USAV. Two came free on the final weekend at Northern Lights to go with the one freed up at Lone Star the weekend before. It’s going to be a very difficult selection process, as there doesn’t seem to be a real clear-cut favorite.

We’ve identified 14 clubs (yes, 14!) that we feel could be in the conversation for an at-large. Many of them carry virtually the same argument, so it’s going to be a tricky selection process that is probably going to come with plenty of second-guessing and questioning given the closeness of the candidates.
